Welcome!
Northwest Christian Church is a new church developing in Council Bluffs, Iowa. We began in July 2009, meeting in the Wilson Jr. High Lecture Hall and are now being blessed with a new location at 38th and Ave. G. We are having a wonderful time growing, learning, and enjoying our community.
We are a church of common people - young, old and in between - each of us with our own joys and challenges, working together to learn more about God, and what it means to have Him involved in our lives. We aren’t perfect, we aren’t high pressure, and it’s not our job to convince you of anything. We just welcome you to walk along side us as we learn together and find a clear path in this world we live in today.
Every activity and event at NWCC is open to anyone with no strings attached. You are always welcome!

Northwest Christian Church is an independent Christian church. We are not a part of any denomination. We are self-governed and determine our own practices and policies, based on the Word of God. Northwest Christian chooses it’s own staff, determines it’s own programming and financially supports itself.
We network with other Christian churches in Council Bluffs and across the United States - but we all function independently.

 Click here for an interactive map of our new location! 38th & Avenue G | Our Location In October, 2010, we were approached with an unique ministry opportunity on the west side of Council Bluffs. Pastor Mike York of Benson Street Church and Pastor Jeff Kraft of NWCC began discussing how both churches could work together to reach the west-end of Council Bluffs. Benson had a building and was looking for new ministry opportunities. NWCC had ministry opportunities and was looking for a building. After much prayer, the two churches decided to share the building and work alongside of each other. Both churches continue to function independently and support their own ministers and ministry programs. But the churches call on each other to work together and support activities and programs. We thank Benson Street Church for their willing hearts and encouragement as both churches continue to grow! |

Our Worship Services
Our worship service begins at 9:00 a.m. and is open to everyone.
Come, grab a cup of our fabulous coffee and join us in worship!
On Sunday mornings you will find us meeting together to sing, laugh, pray,
enjoy communion, and learn about God's Word together.
Some consider our service to be "contemporary," but more realistically it's just "non-traditional."
